I'm going to try and fit ALL of this information into as small a space as I can. So if you have any questions feel free to reach out. The first and most important thing to do. Is the google business profile. Most people leave this incomplete, and for good reason. Most of it looks finished. 99% of the time there are some very small quick fixes that’ll rank you higher on google within just a few weeks.
Locations-
If you are a location based business OR NOT you need to make sure this is filled out. Whether it's a service area or your real address (you can choose not to show it). PLEASE dont put false information to try and rank better in that area. Google will eventually find out and restrict your profile or ask you to change it. A good example I have for you guys was a restaurant I worked with recently.
was visiting their shop one day. While I was there, I pulled up Google Maps to check how they were showing up. Guess what? They didn’t even appear on the first page.
So, we went through their Google Business Profile together. We filled out the missing fields, added updated photos, clarified their categories, and rewrote their business description.
Within two weeks, they jumped into the top ten on Google Maps just from completing their profile. In one of the most competitive markets for restaurants.
It was a night-and-day difference. The same results can happen for you. Services-
Make sure you fill this to the BRIM with everything that you can do for a customer. So eventually when your lovely customer-to-be searched for one of those terms you show. This can also be situational. You’re going to want to either test how many services to put or look at what the best ranking competition is doing and do that.
